When I first started my sessions with Rachel, I felt very flat, exhausted by the smallest activities, stressed, constantly in a bad mood. The route cause could have been several reasons, including trauma in my childhood. Rachel suggested going down the route of looking into low self esteem instead, which actually made me felt relief. Without knowing, I had put myself down over the smallest things for years.
Rachel guided me through exercises of analysing my thinking in situations where I felt I had done something wrong or where I felt I could do something wrong. We then moved over to slowly changing perspective on this thinking and lastly to testing the new thinking via experiments.
Throughout Rachel shared with me tools and templates to use even beyond the sessions.
